Beloved!

I am truly rejoicing! What an awesome Midyear meeting!

I must give God glory and honor for a truly remarkable experience. I appreciate you all for coming to midyear, and send love to all of you wishing to be with us. I thank you for your input at the workshop on praise and worship. I thank you for an awesome rehearsal! I thank you for the spirited and diverse youth and young adult revival service.

Now the Sunday service? Wow! You guys were a replica of the tribe of Judah, with the way you marched in and sang from your hearts, clearly internalizing all that you'd heard the afternoon before. It was clear that you were in touch with your calling, that you were worshipping in true consciousness, that your experiences were signified, and that you are on fire for ministry! I am honored to have witnessed the Shekinah Glory with you.

I will post the workshop information on the Praise Arts page of the national movement website for you and all others who wish to use what we shared. Look forward to more moments like this! Most importantly, I look forward to God revealing many things to you, confirming your destiny in more ways than one. I have never been prouder to be a movement member, a fellow Levite, a co-Minstrel!

With earnest love,

Min. Leslie V. Oliver

Hello Fam,
Thanks to those of us who keep the Spirit of God lifted High!!! God is so awesome to inspire us to keep on loving each through ministry of song. I am a tenor at UFCCharlotte. We are blessed to have the kind of ministry that continues to build on Liberation. I love you all and I am so excited to see what God has in store for us tomorrow!!!

Oh my God!!!! That topic---Are you really qualified? As we know some of us are gifted from God with musical talents, some have been formally trained and then there are those like me....love to sing for the glory of God. I know Im not musically "gifted". But I worship God through song in Spirit and in Truth. I had a situation with the choir and I went to God one nite after choir rehearsal. I was like "God, maybe I dont need to be apart of an "organized" choir. Maybe I can just continue to praise you from the audience or in my "solo" time" God quickly chastened me. And we know God chastens the ones He love. He told me stay, Im about to do a new thing with the choir and I need you there. I seen evidence of it when He sent us a guest musician...."A breath of fresh air" she is. Now "Qualified"----qualified means you have the skills, talent and training to do the position for which you are in. And when your in that position, you have to be willing to teach others--Patience---Elevation from man can be taken away....BUT when God does the elevation no man can take it away. God prepares us for the positions He has for us.....

Good evening, all!

I just had a wonderful conversation with our presiding prelate, Archbishop Carl Bean. He shared an awesome song with me that he'd like for us to sing Midyear Sunday. I've been rejoicing to this song every since I heard it. It's called "God is Able" by Joe Levell and the Greater St. Stephens Choir. Please go get it and listen to it! It's simple and powerful. This song will replace our other sermonic, "There is no Way".

He wants to minister to those who are feeling the impact of the changes in our nation (economy, war, emotional turmoil, etc.). We want to let the body know that God is able to do all things! Please find this song and play it. Let it rest in your spirit as you approach midyear. I know it was a confirmation for me!

I'll see you all soon!

Much love,

Min. Leslie
